If you are reading this on the live site, the important parts already worked: the file was picked up by the build, the page was generated at its own URL, and the hero illustration above loaded from the processed image path.
What This Confirms
A handful of things are being checked at once here — that the title and publish date render, that body copy and a subhead display with the right spacing, that a pull quote is styled correctly, and that the hero image is optimized and served rather than 404ing. If each of those looks right, the template is behaving.
“A newsroom is only as dependable as the pipeline behind it. This post exists to prove that pipeline runs clean, every time.”
Once you have confirmed everything looks correct, this file is safe to delete and rebuild. Nothing else references it, and removing it returns the newsroom to exactly its previous state.
